ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES

For Government of Kenya sponsored students, entry requirements are set and admission is done by the Joint Admissions Board, (JAB), whose secretariat is based at the University of Nairobi, P.O Box 30197-00100 Nairobi. JAB sends forms to secondary schools and after KCSE results are released, candidates are allowed to revise their degree choices according to their performance.

For self sponsored students, a mean grade of C+ in KCSE is required except for BSc. in Telecommunication and Information Engineering and BSc. in Computer Science which require a mean grade of B plain in KSCE in addition to specified subjects for each programme

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

 Generally, a KCSE mean grade of C plain will qualify subject to specified grades in some subjects for each programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

Usually, a KSCE mean grade of C minus or division 111 in KCE will qualify, subject to specified grades in some subjects for each programme
