Tender for the set-up, installation and commissioning of a fiber optic backbone network.

Kimathi University College of Technology (KUCT) invites tenders from eligible firms for the set-up, installation and commissioning of a fiber-optic based backbone network for their main campus in Nyeri.

The tender documents containing detailed specifications of the required services may be obtained from the Kimathi University College of Technology’s Procurement Department situated at the Nyeri campus along the Nyeri-Mweiga Road. This is during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee as indicated.

Tenderers should submit a bid bond of 2% of the bid price in the form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank or insurance company.

Tenders should remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the tender and all prices quoted should be expressed in Kenya Shillings, inclusive of all Government taxes. Tender documents shall be opened on the closing date at 12.00 noon. Interested bidders or their representatives are invited to attend the opening session.

The KUCT reserves the right to accept or reject the tender in whole or in part and does not bid itself to accept the lowest or ant tender or give reasons for its decision. Any canvassing whatsoever will render the prospective bidder ineligible for participation.
